Halloween and a long weekend
Who doesn't love Halloween, whether you are trick or treating or whether you are hanging out with your friends, it is always a good time. This was made even better when my school facilitated a five day break directly after Halloween, which was quite relaxing. During this long weekend of sorts, I was able to secure two very valuable contacts for my possible research interviews. Both of these people have very strong ties in the realm of hospital administration and I really look forward to conversing with them about subjects such as the implementation of evidence informed policy making. I would also like to discuss topics such as the efficiency and effectiveness of those "evidence informed policy making" ideas, and what, if applicable, policies they would recommend. I also look forward to learning all about the interviewee's perspective on many of the trials and tribulations that they went through on their way to the area of health administration, such as the test that is college, what classes they would recommend for expanding my knowledge in this area, and what opportunities I should take up on in order to get ahead of other potential candidates for competition in this field of hospital administration.
